The Phoenix Group (“PGBC”) values you as a member, and
respects your personal information.
Personal information is any information which identifies an individual, except
for the name, title business address and telephone number of an employee of an
organization. We request information such as your work fax number and work
e-mail address when you become a member of the PGBC, and when you enroll for
various events hosted by the PGBC. We use such information as contact
information, to inform you of PGBC events. If you do not wish to provide certain
contact information, you are not required to do so. However, if the PGBC does not
have complete contact information for you, you may not be notified of certain PGBC
events. The PGBC keeps such information in a secure environment, and updates such
information regularly for accuracy. Personal information is retained until it
is apparent that the information is no longer accurate, at which time it is
destroyed. At no time is any personal information of members disclosed to any
third party.
If you choose to pay for PGBC events with a personal credit card, please be
advised that your credit card information is recorded only for payment
purposes, and is then kept in a secure environment for as long as is necessary
to verify that the payment has been duly processed, and to fulfill legal record
retention requirements. Such information is then destroyed.
Board members of the PGBC may be requested to provide additional contact
information, such as home telephone number or cell number. Such information is
requested in order to be able to contact board members on an urgent basis only.
Requests for access to a member’s file, or any other questions, comments, or
complaints regarding privacy within the PGBC are to be emailed to:
