48% OF LIBRARIANS HAVE ASSISTED WITH AN OVERDOSE (CUPE Research, 2023)

Interviews with North Shore and Vancouver Librarians, as well as using the case studies of library safety challenges + measures at the Edmonton and Winnipeg Libraries have informed a people-friendly design approach to the Squamish Demonstration Public Library. Unique design interventions and reducing the need for a plethora of staff for the library to remain functional, has created a solid business case, where key staff funding can be redeployed into critical community resources on site.

Enhanced visuals of the project through Revit and Enscape rendered interiors will be presented through slides, along with Virtual Reality Headsets.
