Metro Vancouver 2040: Shaping our Future, the regional growth strategy (Metro 2040), is the region's collective vision for how growth (population, housing and jobs) will be managed to support the creation of complete, connected, and resilient communities, protect important lands, and support the efficient provision of urban infrastructure like transit and utilities.
