In this presentation, Jill, CEO of the BC Non-Profit Housing Association, will provide an overview of the community housing sector in British Columbia and the advocacy that led to the Province’s development of a 10 year plan to solve the housing crisis, adopted in 2017. Jill will also discuss the current challenges in moving through municipal development processes, community opposition to new non-profit developments, and what we must all do to respond.
