Diana McMeekin, President, Artemis Marketing Group
With more than four decades of experience in the residential and mixed use development industry, Diana McMeekin has been a featured speaker at conferences throughout North America and also lectured at the MIT Center for Real Estate Development in Cambridge, Massachusetts and at Simon Fraser University (Downtown Campus) for the Urban Development Institute in Vancouver. Additionally, she has spoken at various events for the Urban Development Institute in Vancouver and Kelowna, BC.
Ms. McMeekin has been a featured columnist in the Westcoast Homes Section of the Vancouver Sun Newspaper, and is a past Director on the Board of the Urban Development Institute, Pacific Region in Vancouver.
Diana McMeekin has also brought her considerable experience and insights to bear on both developments and corporate positioning in many locations. Markets benefiting from her guidance are in such diverse locations as Boston, Washington DC, New York, Seattle, Portland, Chicago, Vancouver, Victoria, Calgary, Toronto and Dubai.
Before forming Artemis, Ms. McMeekin worked with a variety of Canadian and US based blue chip development firms over the course of 20 years. They include the Louis Dreyfus Property Company, Cadillac Fairview Corporation, Olympia and York Developments in Toronto, and Polygon Group Limited in Vancouver. There, she gained experience in assisting with site selection, residential unit mix, product purchaser profiling, and design and development. As well, Ms. McMeekin was responsible for creating project themes and developing marketing strategies, residential sales and sales training, guiding advertising and promotions, and training customer service for the completion process. Many of these areas of expertise are services that Artemis now offers to its clients.
